Project Idea: Scripture Reference Guide

Ever wanted a collection of all your favourite scriptures on varying topics without lugging around your marked up quad everywhere? Here is a fun idea: make your own topical scripture guide! Its simple, fun, and can help you better study the scriptures!

What You'll Need

  1. Journal

  2. Glue (stick works best)

  3. Scissors

  4. Scriptures of your choice (Cheap paper ones are best for this project, you may need multiple of the same books for some verses that might be cut out on one side)

  5. Any other items you'd like to use to decorate with! (Pictures are a great idea)

Get Started!

For each entry, pick a topic you'd like to have a scriptural reference for. Pick from your selection of scriptures some verses that stand out to you regarding the topic you've chosen and cut them out! Title your page with the chosen topic, organize your entry page with your selected verses and chosen decorations, then use your glue to finalize your vision! See example below.

Keep Adding To Your Guide!

Keep adding to your personal topical guide! Cut and paste your favourite scriptures about topics you're called to study, and reference them in the future as needed! This is a great way to study your scriptures, have your favourite verses easily available to reference, and it's a great way to easily share scriptures with others!

I challenge you to start your own topical scripture guide. Have fun and be led by the Holy Ghost! I pray that as you embark on this creative endevor, you will grow in your love of and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ- in His holy name I pray, amen!
